How to Make Decisions

07.18 ig

Welcome back to the “Chic Summer Series”. Last week, we went deep into decision making. 6 graduated Crème’s shared how their FemmeTypes™ have assisted them in making decisions.

But what if your decision isn’t just up to you and your FemmeTypes?

Have you ever desired something…and you weren’t sure how to “talk” your husband into it?

In fact, you’re pretty sure he will say no.

Well, I used to experience this with Dave… and then I realized the key mistake I was making.

This is a process we send to countless clients as they making the decision to join the Crème…or have any major life decision. And it is crucial even if you don’t have a partner and feel the need to receive approval or permission from anyone…

This video was shot a couple years ago and I refer to an event called Beautiful for Life. That event was in the past and isn’t coming up but the process is VERY valuable. Also…I had no idea how dark my hair was getting. So yes, I look like Elvira in this video, so no need to criticize it;).

Maybe there’s something you’ve really been wanting in your life. Maybe it’s some new shoes. Maybe it’s a vacation. Maybe it’s a program, or a new business idea.

You may have some hope and inspiration at first (and perhaps a little bit of fear!)

And then all of a sudden you feel like you need someone else’s approval before you do it.

When you ask someone else’s approval what you’re asking them is: Do they think it’s worth it?

But underneath that, what you’re REALLY asking them is if they think YOU are worth it.

Think about that for a second.

Before you ask anyone approval, I invite you to go through this process that will assist you in receiving clarity and confidence on making a decision.

I call it the C-Me, C-Him Process!

Here’s what it looks like:

  1. Connect with yourself first. This will be a powerful connection with your Indie: Why do I really want to do this, and what does it mean to me? This will bring you to a greater place of clarity.
  2. Isolate your fear. What are you afraid of? It might be, “What if I can’t get clients? What if nothing really happens?” Letting yourself feel the fear is an important part of connecting with your Indie.
  3. Belief. Do you believe that whatever this is that you’re wanting (the event, the business, the vacation) will assist you with your fear in step 2? (Do I believe going to this event will assist me with more confidence?)

If you follow this process, you will bring up your fear and resistance, and still find a way to say YES.

I can’t wait to hear from you. What are you stepping into that you would like to receive more confidence and clarity on? Share your insights about this process and how it assist you below.

PS. If the Crème is calling you…or you just want to know more details about it, you can find out more about it here. The team is here to answer any questions you have.
