Bonjour...I'm Tara

Most days, I wake up, and the first thing that comes to mind is, “I don’t know what to write.”

Scratch that.

Every day I wake up, and that’s my thought!

And every day, something comes through.

Eventually.

After I procrastinate a little. Talk with Tara about life.

Work on some video editing.

Reach out to vendors for an upcoming epic retreat Tara’s holding. (I’ll share more on that in the coming days).

You get the point.

When I’m not sure what to write you about, I do other things.

But the truth is once I sit down and start to write, I get clarity. And something comes through.

Some awareness under the surface bubbles its way forward and makes its way onto my screen and then onto your screen.

I’m starting to realize that the juice is in just doing it.

Even though I don’t wake up every day knowing the message… every day, without fail, something comes through.

Now it’s debatable if it’s all good. There’s probably been a stinker here and there.

But I’m proud of the overall body of work that I’ve produced.

And in reflection, it means more to me that I don’t have the answer and I still do it anyway…

It makes the accomplishment even better. Even sweeter.

For most of my life, I thought you should have the answer before you act.

So the lesson… the takeaway for me, and hopefully for you, is to have more trust that the act of doing creates the movement.

It creates momentum.

“Doing” creates the space for spirit/god/universe to step in and support us with anything we are working towards.

But if we don’t do the task with unknown results ahead… if we don’t give ourselves (and god) the runway… then we won’t create what we don’t even realize we’re possible of creating.

Read that line again please.

Basically, avoiding the thing that’s scary… the thing you’re not sure how to do or how it will end up… means you won’t move past that unknown phase.

You’ll be stuck in more of the same.

It won’t result in growth.

That feels safer and also much less exciting.

Here’s my encouragement to you today.

Do the thing that’s calling you that you’re not sure how it’s going to work out.

Take steps. Spirit’s got your back. You’ll grow and end up further along than you ever imagined.

Ok. Here we are. I’m grateful for your time today. You got this.

Be good.

Dave “I wonder what I’m going to write about tomorrow” Marino

PS. Today’s email process started with “I don’t know what to write”. Then I started typing. I had no idea what I was going to write about until I started writing.

Even after I typed that phrase, I wasn’t sure where this was going or where we would end up.

The moral of the story is to trust that spirit/god/universe has your back. Take the step and trust.

PPS. I’m working on getting all of these emails added to a blog on EF’s site. So if you missed any or want to share any with anyone, you’ll have a place to go.

I’ll update you on this in the coming days.

And if you’re called check out the new Moi video here… it’s hot! If you join today you’ll save $1300!

I’ll see you tomorrow.
